王永吉 WANG Yong-ji 1947年7月10日~)

王永吉,指揮家、小提琴演奏家。現任上海民族樂團藝術總監,上海文廣民族樂團藝術總監兼指揮,曾任上海京劇院《海港》劇組樂隊指揮,上海電影樂團指揮、副團長、首席指揮,上海廣播交響樂團常任指揮。1947年7月10日出生於上海;1960年,就讀於上海音樂學院附中,研習小提琴專業;附中畢業後,師從黃曉同教授深造指揮藝術,以優異成績畢業於上海音樂學院大學部作曲指揮系。1966年,出任上海電影樂團演奏員;1969年至1977年,出任上海京劇院《海港》劇組樂隊指揮;之後,轉任上海電影樂團指揮、副團長、首席指揮;繼任上海廣播交響樂團常任指揮;1989年至1991年,在上海音樂學院進修指揮、作曲;1998年,在美國芝加哥交響樂團學習進修;2001年12月,出任上海民族樂團藝術總監;2010年4月,出任上海文廣民族樂團藝術總監兼指揮。他曾指揮香港小交響樂團,上海交響樂團,上海歌劇院交響樂團,哈爾濱歌劇團交響樂團等演出的交響音樂會及歌劇,使其指揮藝術更臻完美及富有個性。同時指揮上海民族樂團赴新加坡、臺灣、香港等地的演出也頗獲讚譽。王永吉先生的指揮思路敏捷、幹練、簡明,揭示作品的內涵有其獨特的見解。他曾為上百部故事影片,美術片,及千餘集電視劇音樂錄音擔任指揮,被譽為“銀幕上出現名字最多”的人。

WANG Yong-ji is a conductor and violinist. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and concurrently serves as the Artistic Director and conductor of the Shanghai Radio and Television Traditional Orchestra. He previously served as the conductor of the Orchestra of the Shanghai Jingju Theatre’s “Harbour” production, as well as the conductor, deputy leader, and chief conductor of the Shanghai Film Orchestra. He was also a resident conductor of the Shanghai Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra.

WANG Yong-ji was born on July 10, 1947, in Shanghai. In 1960, he studied violin at the Shanghai Conservatory Middle School. After graduating from the middle school, he furthered his studies in conducting under Professor HUANG Xiao-tong, and graduated with outstanding results from the Composition and Conducting Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 1966, he became a performer in the Shanghai Film Orchestra. From 1969 to 1977, he served as the conductor of the Orchestra of the Shanghai Jingju Theatre’s “Harbour” production. He later became a conductor, deputy leader, and chief conductor of the Shanghai Film Orchestra. He then assumed the position of resident conductor of the Shanghai Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra. From 1989 to 1991, he pursued further studies in conducting and composition at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 1998, he studied and furthered his education at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the United States. In December 2001, he became the Artistic Director of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, and in April 2010, he took on the role of Artistic Director and conductor of the Shanghai Radio and Television Traditional Orchestra.

WANG Yong-ji has conducted performances of symphonic concerts and operas with orchestras such as the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Shanghai Opera House, and the Harbin Opera Symphony Orchestra, showcasing his exceptional conducting skills and unique interpretive insights. He has also conducted the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra in performances in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other places, receiving acclaim. WANG Yong-ji’s conducting style is agile, concise, and insightful, revealing his unique understanding of the works. He has conducted the recording of music for over a hundred feature films, art films, and more than a thousand episodes of television dramas, earning him the title of the “most frequently credited conductor in the film industry.”
