In 1980, she entered the Central Conservatory and furthered her qin studies from Wu Jin-lue and Wu Wen-guang. In 1982, she won an award from competitions. She graduated in 1984 and became a teacher in the Central Conservatory. She won the fame of Outstanding Arts Workers in 1985.
