LI Guang-lu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n LI Guang-lu started to learn the sheng<\/em>, dizi<\/em> and suona<\/em> when he was seven. In 1975, he was admitted to the affiliated secondary school of the Central Conservatory. In 1983, he graduated from the China Conservatory. He has held recitals and also concerts with orchestra. He teaches in the conservatory when at the same time studies under ZHANG Zhi-liang and also many other masters in China. After years of learning, he has mastered the playing of many types of sheng<\/em>. He has toured 19 countries for performance and made dozens of tapes and CD recordings. In the International Chinese Music Competition 1995, he was the champion for the sheng<\/em> section, and he has also won the best performance award in an international wind instrument competition in 1996.
