He has been the associate professor and the head of the instrumental department of the China Conservatory. He is also a member of the Chinese Musicians\u2019 Association, the associate director of the board of the National Erhu Examination, an executive member of the China Folk Orchestral Music Academy, an executive member of the Beijing Erhu Research Association. He learned the <em>erhu<\/em> under the famous musician JIANG Feng-zhi, the <em>banhu<\/em> and <em>gaohu<\/em> under LIU Ming-yuan and the <em>jinghu<\/em> under HE Shun-xin.
